Greetings beloved, thank you for taking a moment to explore the possibilities for life here at First United Methodist Church. We are many things in the world, we serve, we worship, we care, we pray. We are a place of the heart. We want to see God in the world and only an open heart blessed with the gift of faith can do that.
The Church is a place like no other place. We often fail in our calling but we also forgive. We sometimes lose our way but we are also found and finding who we are as those who are beloved by God. We believe that everyone is beloved by God and we gather in community to celebrate being beloved and to live out our belovedness in the world as those who are always finding ways to love again and to practice kindness always. Jesus ‘ love has shown us what love is. We want to go where love will take us.
Come and join us on the way of the heart where we may see what the eyes cannot see.
